We are recruiting for a Night Shift Manager for one of our clients based in Milton Keynes.

6pm-6am – Rotating shift pattern plus 20 banked shifts (weekends included)

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various areas of the process including production, warehouse & distribution with particular focus on performance, productivity, improvement, and development.

See below some of the key responsibilities:

•Management of Team Leaders & Operatives monitoring performance via KPI’s and general objectives/goals, motivation, and development of staff, conducting appraisals, disciplinary/grievance/absence procedures

•Clear communication amongst counterparts regarding staffing levels, training, shift hand overs, working on efficiency initiatives

•Overseeing general health and safety working in partnership with colleagues and Facilities team and policies

•Full involvement in 5S lean manufacturing with autonomy to identify solutions and new ideas

Skills and experience required:

•Background within FMCG or a fast-moving production environment at management level

•Ability to measure and report on cost, quality & delivery

•IOSH or NEBOSH would be advantageous

•Implementing continuous improvement

•Sound knowledge of supply chain
