We have an opportunity for a Trainee Nursing Associate to join their team of staff in the Nursing department.
This is a work-based higher apprenticeship programme that allows you to combine protected learning opportunities in the workplace with a university learning environment whilst at the same time studying for a foundation degree.
Successful completion of this apprenticeship programme leads to registration as an Associate Nurse on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) register.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

* A level 3 healthcare-related qualification (e.g. NVQ 3, BETEC, A-levels). This may include appropriate training through work.
Please note you will be required to provide evidence of these documents in advance of any interview stage.
Duties of this role include:
* You will develop a knowledge and understanding of the role of the Nursing Associate within a multi-disciplinary team and in doing so develop the proficiency to promote evidence-based practice and professional nursing care.
* Training is delivered via a block delivery pattern consisting of 6 one-week blocks in each year of study. The remainder of the learning time is spent in clinical practice and on clinical placements to ensure that you gain a wider base of relevant clinical experience.
