A large well-established Civil Engineering contractor are searching for a Senior Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This business is working on a large infrastructure project and require a Senior Site Engineer to join their team on a bulk earthworks package which is taking place outside of Aylesbury.

You will be joining a close-knight team consisting of Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Engineers, Junior Engineers and industrial placement engineers.

You will be tasking with overseeing the quality of the site engineers and supervising the junior engineers whilst maintaining strong communication with the broader project management team.

A big portion of this position will involve liaising with the other teams within the business within the Quality, Planning, Surveying, Commercial, and HSEQ – due to this you need to be a strong communicator and be able to highlight and correct any issues you may find.

Some of your duties will include:

Ensure any defects are highlighted and correct as soon as possible

Ensure quality assurance forms are completed at every stage of the project

Supervise graduate/junior engineers

Produce good quality RAMS in a timely manner

About you:

Bulk Earthworks experience (Ideal but not essential)

Experience of compiling QA documentation

SMSTS

Degree in Civil Engineering
