Our client, is a public distance Learning and Research University, and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Project Coordinator (SAP) to join them asap for three months, working 37hrs a week and working from home (equipment will be supplied). Hourly rate is £17.57 – £18.63ph, dependent on experience (£33,797- £35,845pa).

About the role:

To assist with the project work required to support the implementation of SAP into People Services, ensuring the delivery of specified outputs within agreed time, quality and cost parameters to meet key milestone dates.

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for coordinating work packages following organisational project methods from initial scoping to delivery and handover; producing project documentation in line with organisational project methods and frameworks.
Supporting project meetings as appropriate, coordinating and maintaining project plans using IT project management tools; Participate in Steering groups, working groups and wider strategic initiatives as and when required.
Record information accurately and consistently using appropriate systems; analysing and specifying simple requirements.
Working with teams to estimate resources and time required to fulfil specifications.
Coordinate with teams and third-party suppliers to monitor the progress and quality of tasks and deliverables and to ensure delivery to specification, deadlines and budget.
Anticipate and contribute to the resolution of problems and departures from specification and schedule by monitoring progress.Experience

Ideally experienced in working on the large integrated implementation of projects
Ideally experienced in SAP and possibly SAP Success Factors
Ideally expereinced in MS Projects
Able to bring together internal and external groups for large meetings
Competent using Excel to intermediate/advanced level
