We are currently looking for an experienced Highways Supervisor, to work for a leading highways service provider in the UK.

You will working on a number of highways projects; helping co-ordinate and supervise the works been undertaken on roads and motorways. You will be responsible for setting up traffic diversions on major roads in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Berkshire.

This role is offering a generous salary package, 25 days holiday and a company vehicle or allowance.

Responsibilities:

* To work safely and promote a safe environment for all operations.
* To supervise the operational teams (employees or SCP's) in line with budget, working constraints and specification on all relevant contract works.
* To monitor the skills and experience of operatives within the division and work with line manager to plan training and development.
* To actively participate in all meetings whether management or client designated.
* To actively foster a positive staff morale.
* Develop and promote partnering and collaborative working with clients.

Requirements:

* Traffic management qualifications – Lantra 12 A, B, D

* SMSTS / SSSTS

* Supervisory experience

* Good I.T skills
