Caval Recruitment's Commercial Building client based in the Milton Keynes area has a job opportunity for an experienced Accounts Clerk largely encompassing Commercial, Industrial, Warehouse, Office, Residential, Motor Dealerships and Mixed Developments. Innovative and pioneering in approach, with an enviable reputation for quality the Company's aims and objectives are to work in conjunction with both Clients and Resource Providers to provide them with a quality service from conception, through construction and thereafter throughout the lifespan of the project.
The Role
As a highly qualified Accounts Clerk you will be accountable for all financial matters and updating companies records using in-house systems to track and monitor all cost related information.
Duties
Assists accountants and accounting managers
Sage payroll
Data entry responsibility
Researches and corrects entries as necessary
Keep accurate records relating to accounts receivable
Reconciles accounts and balance company financials
Prepares accounting reports and track accounts payable
Makes ledger entries and ensure accuracy of all transactions
Sound knowledge of legislation and VAT & CIS and revenue
Records transactions so that they can be consolidated and analysed by accountants
Compiles reports relating to activity areas, project costing, department expenditures, and company profitabilityThe successful candidate will receive competitive salary plus benefits package.
