My client is a leader in the design and manufacture of Test & Measurement equipment. Their solutions are utilised within mobile, broadband, voice and datacoms.
As the Hardware Engineering Manager, you will take responsibility for their inhouse Hardware team, External Design agencies and oversee the development of hardware for both new and existing products. You will also work closely with the Supply Chain Engineering team to ensure all products are manufacturable. This is a hands-on role, where you will have the opportunity to work across a range of products at all stages of their development.
The main responsibilities for the role of Hardware Engineering Manager:
* Lead the hardware development team providing technical leadership and project management
* Oversee the development of all hardware for both new and existing products
* Work with the supply chain engineering team to ensure all products are manufacturable
* Deliver all projects on time, on quality and on budget in accordance with the product roadmap
A successful candidate for the Hardware Engineering Manager role will have the following:
* Degree qualified in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
* Extensive experience within Hardware Design (Analogue & Digital)
* Man management experience
* Demonstrate a track record in designing products for manufacture, test, EMC, Safety and Environmental testing.
