Currently representing a well-established house developer based in Milton Keynes that are seeking a Technical Coordinator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Coordinator to join a company with big growth plans in the area and that pride themselves on excellent build quality. This is an exciting time for a Technical Coordinator to come on board, with current sites under construction including new build homes and apartment blocks in the local area.

The Technical Coordinator will coordinate all technical information on projects from inception to completion and will be reporting to the Technical Manager. Our client is happy to see CV's for any Architectural Technician / Technologists that are seeking their first opportunity into a house builder. The Technical department of the company are involved with the project from inception to completion and from time to time involved with defect solutions with the customer care team. The Technical Coordinator will be responsible for preparing working drawings, submitting planning applications and liasing with the wider construction team on large scale new build projects.

The most suitable candidate will come from a developer or contractor background or be seeking the next step within their career from an Architectural Practice. Demonstrable knowledge of Building Regulations / NHBC and working drawings that are in accordance with the approved Planning Schemes is an advantage also.

Technical Coordinator Position Overview

Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications for large scape developments
Prepare, submit and secure Building Regulations Approvals for developments
Prepare working drawings and collate all supporting information
Work closely with the other functional areas across the business unit to ensure technical considerations are being made at every phase of build
Work In conjunction with the Project Manager provide technical support for all sites

Technical Coordinator Position Requirements

Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
Strong residential background
Good knowledge of Building Regulations / NHBC
Live in or around the Milton Keynes area
Ability to work well within a team
Strong communication skills

Technical Coordinator Position Remuneration

Competitive Salary (£30,000 – £45,000 DOE)
