Section Engineer – Milton Keynes – Structures experience essential – Immediate start
How would you like to work with a tier 1 civils contractor in their rail division? You will be joining a high profile rail framework, working on a strategic route linking Oxford, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury and Bedford.
I'm looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join my client on a freelance basis for 3 months +. There is potential for extention.
As a section engineer you will work on Bridges and structures projects.
PTS not essential.
This role is paying £350-£375 (through Umbrella company) or £300 PAYE (throguh Randstad exc holiday pay)
Roles and responsibilities:
You will report to the project manager and have a team of engineers and sub contractors who you will manage and will report to you
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the design team
Preparing and writing method statements
Put together ITP's and risk assessments
Assess the temporary work and permanent works required on site
Planning and programming of the works
Attending weekly progress meetings
Work with senior engineers to manage the design process Candidate Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
A valid CSCS card, SSSTS/SMSTS is ideal
PTS is not essential.
Knowledge working on similar projects – structures / bridges experience is essential
