Athona is currently recruiting for an ongoing locum Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) in Buckinghamshire.

The post is based in an Older Adult's Community Mental Health Team working with clients aged 65+.

The post holder will be responsible for carrying out mental health assessments for older people with a variety of mental health needs in the community. A number of service users live independently within the community, therefore the post holder will provide support to the families and carers where necessary.

The service operate 37.5 hours per week: Mon – Fri shifts with some Working from home under the COVD-19 restrictions. Flexible working arrangements will be considered.

Mileage is paid at standard rate per mile for community visits.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with access to a car for community use. Experience working with Older Adults is essential for thid role.
