MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR/SUPERVISOR

AYLESBURY

4 ON 4 OFF DAYS ONLY (7am – 7pm)

£42,000

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Coordinator / Supervisor to join a market leading food manufacturer. Reporting directly to the Engineering manager you will be a key member of the engineering department, supervising a team of skilled engineers. You will be given autonomy to develop and improve the current maintenance systems and champion a variety of project work. The role will also include; team development as well as all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets. This position offers an opportunity for a motivated individual to put their own mark on the engineering department and be crucial in the long-term development of the business.

Role Description
*Improvement and development of maintenance systems
*Supervising a team of multi-skilled engineers
*Team development through training and support
*Driving change and improvement projects within the engineering function to achieve
*Machinery is fast moving/FMCG equipment including; packaging lines, labellers, mixing machines, filling lines, weighing machinery etc…
*100% PM Compliance
*80% minimum Craft utilisation
*70% of craft utilisation to be on planned activities
*20% or less of craft utilisation to be on reactive activities
*10% minimum of craft utilisation to be on CI activities
*100% RCA compliance on breakdowns over 3 hours in duration
*Fault Finding both Electrically & Mechanically
*Scheduling, ordering spare parts etc..
*Adhere to health and safety requirements

Skills and Qualifications
*Strong Maintenance Engineering background
*Apprenticeship and preferably qualified to HNC/HND level
*Supervisory/Team leader experience
*Manufacturing background
*Excellent health and safety awareness
