A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Project Manager to join one of the country's leading HVAC contractors working around the South of England.

Hours of work
37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday. Your hours will generally be between 9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.

Main Purpose and Scope of the job
As a Project Manager you will be supporting the business through delivery of projects across all business units to the client's specifications and in line with departmental processes and procedures.
Your responsibilities will include;
Proactively manage the delivery of each project in conjunction with the client;
Working as part of a team, provide support, share knowledge and mentoring to other project managers;
Act as the conduit for communication from the client, ensure communication is shared to the relevant area of the business and ensure the loop is closed in all escalations or requests for information.
Ownership of all financial aspects of the projects under their control including materials and labour;
Planning, procuring and organising all labour, materials and plant activities to meet exacting client requirements.
Preparing a project budget; scheduling expenditures; evaluating variances and propose corrective actions and ensure financial forecasts are issued in a timely manner to ensure account forecasting.
Ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, quality, legal and health & safety standards.
Working with internal stakeholders to maximise profitability and demonstrate cost management.

Skill Set, Qualifications and Experience
Have a proven track record of project management;
Experience in commercial or retail refrigeration sector, either in service and maintenance or design and installation;
Excellent numeracy and analytical skills;
Great communicator both orally and written;
Is skilled in setting targets and priorities to meet the business and client's needs;
Ability to plan a course of action and adjusts work to meet the changing expectations of our clients;
Understanding of the importance of making key decisions and time management;
Ability to anticipate & manage issues;
Able to communicate well at all levels, both internally and externally;
Willing to travel to sites across the UK.
Salary / Package
Basic salary – £40,000 – £45,000
