An independently owned company with over 30 years’ experience as a manufacturer in the automatic door industry is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team in Northampton.  Working in healthcare, education, government agency and commercial sectors their products, which is custom made to suit specific applications, include: Manuel Swing and Sliding Doors, Automatic Swing and Sliding Doors, Hermitically Sealed Doors, Steel doors, Glazed low level curtain wall and shop fronts.

As a Contracts Manager you will:

Ensure customers’ expectations are met regarding the delivery of service.
Oversee projects from the receipt of order through to completion.
Manage fabrication and surveys for all projects.
Manage costs with project, complete on time and within budget.
Liaise with Subcontractors.
Maintain accurate records.
Prepare RAMS and scope of work with the project team.
Attend customer site meetings as required.
Ensure quality control procedures are followed.
We are looking for a Contracts Manager with the following:

Experience in the automatic door industry.  
IT literate.  
CAD experience with the ability to read technical drawings.
An understanding Construction and Site conditions.
Organisation and planning skills.
An understanding of current Building and DDA regulations.  
In return you will receive a salary of £40,000 plus pension, healthcare, etc.
