Title: Finance Director, High Wycombe
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000
Do you have previous experience working as a Finance Director? Do you exceed at proactively managing financial affairs whilst ensuring legal and accounting guidelines are met?
We are looking for an individual who wants the opportunity to really challenge processes and oversee the implementation of new systems. The successful candidate would have a Financial Controller, Financial Assistant and a Payroll Controller reporting into them.
The business has recently implemented NetSuite and therefore need someone with confident working knowledge of the system and who can be a go to for the team who are new to the system.
In order to be considered you must demonstrate experience of collaboratively with all areas of the business, ensuring financial controls are adhered to. You must also have strong commercial background as well as a flexible attitude which is must within this SME set up.
Duties will include:
Ensuring accounting practice conforms to UK and Irish regulations and AG requirements
Producing accounts, company reports, tax returns and VAT returns as necessary and in timely fashion
Contributing to company strategy to achieve profitable growth
Compiling annual budget
Manage, monitor, and control cash flow, expenditure and stock
Advising the MD and other managers of any finance issues
Interfacing with customers as necessary
Managing the finance team
Communicating with the all departmentsThe successful candidate for this role will have:
ACA, ACCA and CIMA qualifications
5 years' experience in similar roles
Confident working knowledge of NetSuite
A strong team player
Experience of preparing management and statutory accounts
Prior experience as an operational or line manager
Flexibility
