Ongoing support to progress with funding and support to attain a Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare. With this qualification you can then be promoted to Team Leader.

An average of 3 full days off per week on a rota basis.
An organisation which places great emphasis on quality matching of young people and the home they will be most successfully rehabilitated in.
Therapeutic support from a clinical team every two weeks where the home’s support staff meet with the therapeutic practitioners to discuss the young people you are directly supporting.
As a Support Worker with Young People, your most significant contribution in this role is that of a professional parent, nurturing and caring for the young people looked after.
As part of a team, you will be involved in the direct day to day support of three young people, joining in with activities, coaching on life skills, and being a positive role model.
You will be guided by your Shift Leader and Manager to take a child-centred approach in providing high quality care that will enable each young person to grow and develop healthily. You will also implement and maintain clear and consistent boundaries necessary for the creation of a safe and secure environment, necessary for each young person to flourish.
