Business Finance Manager

Cambian Bletchley Park School

Salary: £32,000-£35,000 FTE + Cambian Benefits (Dependent on Experience)

Location: Bletchley, Milton Keynes

Contract: permanent, Term Time Only

We are seeking to appoint a Business Finance Manager to join our growing team.

About the role:

The Business Finance Manager post carries the overall responsibility for the management of the day to day processing of site finances and oversight of domestic, catering and household services provided by our establishment.

The role requires the use of initiative and the ability to directly manage and support the team of core staff to ensure a safe, healthy, clean and comfortable living environment for students and staff. You will manage all issues relating to general household practices and associated services related to welfare of the students. The role includes responsibility for managing delegated budgets and resources. It also involves contributing to development plans aimed at bringing about continual improvement in these areas.

Successful candidates will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post.

About you:

Act as a as a senior professional in the core team

Have a polite and friendly approach

Ability to build positive, professional relationships

Experience required:

Experience of staff management.

Experience of working effectively in a School, college and/or residential support service environment

Experience of managing finances/budgets competently

Solid IT Skills (Predominantly Excel)

Experience of developing the practice of staff by providing effective on-the-job coaching and/or good quality training
