Brief role description – Injection Mould Toolmaker

We are supporting our client in their search for an Injection Mould Toolmaker, who will be responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, servicing, and repair of injection mould tools.

Role Description:

The Injection Mould Toolmaker will be responsible for manufacturing, maintaining, repairing, and manufacturing new plastic injection mould tools and press tools to a very high standard. This includes the following:

* Accurately reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings

* In-depth Hot runner systems Knowledge

* Multi cavity experience

* Candidates for the role of Toolmaker will have a wealth of experience in Plastic Injection Mould Tool manufacture, from start to finish including assembly and fitting.

* Working within the busy Tooling Division, good teamwork skills will be present working alongside experienced toolmakers as well as a strong team of machinists.

* Excellent organisation skills will enable the successful candidate to provide guidance and work instruction where necessary to the machining team.

* The successful candidate will be able to manage tooling projects and be responsible for the full planning of the manufacturing process.
