A leading consultancy that provides Engineering solutions to the aerospace industry are seeking a contract Design Engineer to join their team to provide expertise and assistance in the manufacture of their products

As Mechanical Design Engineer will you be responsible for:

Detailed mechanical design of sheet metal components
CAD support to ensure accuracy of drawings in line with design improvements.
Verification to validate drawings
Detailed CAD using NX
Work with external manufacturing partners and other suppliers.To be successful you will have:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BA, BEng in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in working with complex aerospace components
Able to perform calculations, tolerance analysis and GD&T
Experience of using NX as a CAD package
