I am currently recruiting for a proven Electrical Fitter for heavy plant for a permanent / staff position in the UK to support our Client's work on the prestigious HS2 Project. You must be able to demonstrate experience in broad range of yellow goods, that must include heavy plant ranging from a small fork lift truck up to a 30 tonne drilling rigs including, but not limited to, tracked/wheeled 180 & 360 plant, dumpers, earth movers, conveyors, concrete line pumps etc.

Your role will involve, but not be limited to:

* Perform planned and preventative maintenance on plant and vehicles including cranes, rigs, forklifts and other yellow goods.
* Perform reactive repairs on plant and vehicles including cranes, rigs, forklifts and other yellow goods.
* Diagnosis of breakdowns
* Adhere to working instructions as specified internally from engineers, project manager and supervisors.
* Follow all Health & Safety requirements
* Provide paperwork, namely, drillers logs, equipment inspection sheets, timesheets on a weekly basis for approval.
* Maintenance of drilling equipment, small plant and tools

You will be expected to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

* Experience working on plant and vehicles including cranes, rigs, forklifts and other yellow goods.
* Experience working on a live construction site
* AC and DC Electrical knowledge
* Hydraulics knowledge
* Able to read Hydraulic and Electrical drawings
* ECS Gold card or equivalent
* 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations
* Knowledge of CPU, Frequency Inventors and Electronic Starters
* Previous experience of routine workshop repairs coupled to field call out work
Desirable
* Experience working on foundation/piling equipment
* Testing and inspection experience
