Our client, based in Haddenham, is seeking a Spares Coordinator to help cover a maternity contract with an immediate start.

As Spares Coordinator, you will be an efficient link between external service, technical and sales departments and coordinate the day to day business needs of these departments.

As Spares Coordinator typical tasks will include but not be limited to:

* Provide support to clients throughout the process of purchase, distribution and after sales of their machinery and spare parts

* Be a main point of contact for clients and field engineers and provide logistical support to both

* Provide costings and quotes for spare parts to customers

* Monitor the progress of all orders and raise invoices

* Log all maintenance and breakdown information for field technicians

* Monitor emails for changes to service visits, update daily log

* Review and coordinate completed Service Technician paperwork and process any necessary invoicing

* Liaise with the warehouse and shipping companies to manage supply levels

* Maintain shipping spreadsheet and proof of delivery for all completed shipments

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

* Excellent organisational skills and be methodical in your work

* Be able to manage a high volume and often pressurised workload

* Be able to prioritise workload

* Be an excellent relationship builder and communicate effectively at all levels

* Have good technical knowledge or the ability to pick up technical terminology quickly

* Have accurate administrative ability and be able to act on your own initiative

Ideally you will have a technical, distribution, scheduling or logistics background with a strong work ethic and a calm and friendly approach.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (phone number removed)pm with a slightly earlier finish on Fridays. Salary for this role will be £22-23,500k pro rata. This is an initial 6-9 month maternity cover contract which could become permanent for the right person
