Andy File Associates Limited are working as a Recruitment Business on behalf of our client with regards this temporary position.
Our very busy client based in Aylesbury is looking for experienced FLT Operative to join their team working on an ongoing temporary basis. For the right person, this role could go temp-perm.
You will need to be a good communicator as you will be working closely with a team of experienced operatives. You should have a flexible attitude, you will need to be aware of health and safety as it will be a key factor within the working day. You will also be loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a forklift truck, sorting stock and general housekeeping.
Reporting to the : Production Manager
Responsibilities of the FLT Operative:
* Stocking production lines with components and stacking finished goods in the storage area prior to dispatch
* Loading finished products onto vehicles for dispatch
* Dealing with appropriate paperwork
* Relevant training may be given if required to work in other areas of the warehouse
Requirements of the FLT Operative:
* Attention to detail
* Good accuracy and organisational skills
* Experience of driving a Counterbalance FLT
* To hold a current valid Counterbalance Licence

Details
Hours of work will be : 1.30pm – 11.30pm (Once trained)
Days – Monday – Thursday ( on the later shift)
Training for the first couple of weeks will be on the day shift :6.00am – 2.00pm
Days (on the earlier shift ) Monday – Friday
The position is temp to perm and is – £10.50 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary, Full time
Transport: Own means of transport needed to get to location as public transport links not available
Pay rate : £10.50 p/h – pay can increase with experience
Training on : Overhead crane, COSH, working at height and manual handling
