What is the purpose of the role?
As Programme Manager, you will identify, mobilise & lead a team of SME’s, ensuring the projects are delivered to time, cost & quality constraints. This role will take a holistic view of all assigned projects, ensuring robust and consistent governance. You will be required to identify and manage Project Risks and Issues, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are in place. You will be managing the programme of works and all work stream leads across multiple projects from contract win through to go live.
You will be required to work with, and occasionally influence key senior stakeholders from across the business therefore you will need to demonstrate a professional, articulate and knowledgeable manner at all times.
You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the project.
In this role you are responsible for:
Defining the Project Scope (including Out of Scope) & approach
Validating the project budget against the project scope
Identifying, mobilising and leading a team of SME’s
Creation & ongoing management of the detailed Project Plan
Creation & ongoing management of the Risks & Issues Log
Creation & ongoing management of the High-Level & Milestone Plans
Completion of all required project documentation (Brief, PID etc)
Creation & execution of the project Communication Plan
Identifying shortfalls in resources and / or budget & making appropriate recommendations
Ensuring all internal processes are followed, such as Procurement and CAB
Delivery of the project, adhering to the agreed methodology
Successful pass through all Stage Gates
Formal ‘Business As Usual Handover’ upon completion of project delivery
