Senior Cost Manager – Milton Keynes – up to £65K

Our client is an excellent cost consultancy with an excellent reputation and impressive pipeline of work. They continue to grow and now looking to appoint a Senior level Cost Manager with client side consultancy experience to deliver professional cost services on projects across the Industrial and Commercial sectors up to the value of £30m.

Person Specification:

* Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager (Client side/Consultancy).

* Ideally chartered.

* Self motivated.

* Enthusiastic and pro-active.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

* A good understanding of procurement methods.

* Effective in a team or working independently.

* Experienced in pre and post contract duties.

The Role:

* You will be responsible for cost estimating, managing the tender process, valuations, regular reporting to Clients and facilitating cost control from inception through to completion.

* You will be based from home with the requirement of visiting office and site locations 2 or 3 times a week.
