Mechanical Engineer – I am currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join one of the UK's fastest-growing maintenance teams, to join them working in a number of distribution centres in and around the High Wycombe area. This is a permanent vacancy within the retail industry that has been running all throughout Covid.

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for servicing and maintaining hydraulic systems throughout the distribution centres such as dock levellers, scissor lifts, loading bays and yard gates. Previous experience of a mechanical nature is required, but not experience working on these exact systems. The starting basic salary for the Mechanical Engineer is £30,000 per year, based on working Monday – Friday 6am-3pm. There is optional overtime work.

As a Mechanical Engineer you will require an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent within mechanical engineering, and any electricla qualificaitons would be advantageous but not essential.
