Due to continued growth, we are looking for additional Defence Consultants to join our Professional Services team. If you are ambitious with a good understanding of the ArcGIS Platform and/or wider IT systems and a willingness to increase your GIS skills, then we would love to hear from you.

Our work is very diverse including designing enterprise GIS systems; installing and configuring the ArcGIS platform to meet business needs, delivering software engineering projects for innovative bespoke solutions and providing consultancy expertise to help our customers make the best use of our technology. The Position:
Working for us as a GIS Consultant across a range of Defence projects and client sectors, your key responsibilities would be to:
* Help our customers to understand the latest trends in GIS and IT (including Cloud hosting, data science, virtual/augmented reality, automation, etc.) and demonstrate how these can help to solve their business problems
* Consult with clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions
* Use the ArcGIS Platform and related technology to design and configure desktop, web and mobile applications
* Be a trusted technical advisor, demonstrating innovative technical solutions and growing our clients understanding of the ArcGIS platform
* Grow and develop our understanding of the Land, Air and Sea domains and how IT can support the wider Defence sector in the UK
* Support our wider customer engagements and provide technical input and guidance to our business development and sales teams
About you:
We are keen to consider candidates with a range of experience. Hands-on experience of using the ArcGIS Platform is preferred, but not essential. More important is a passion for the latest technology and a willingness to learn. Ideally you would have:
* Good organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise workload and deliver to timescales
* The motivation to work often on your own, combined with the ability to collaborate with the wider team
* Good presentations and communication skills, written and verbal
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find innovative solutions
* The ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners and other key stakeholders alike
* A current DV clearance or willingness and ability to be security cleared.
* Experience of working with the UK Defence sector would be an advantage
* Resident in UK for at least the last ten years, and with unrestricted entitlement to work in the UK

The location
You will be primarily home based, but with many of our clients based in the South of England it would be advantageous, but not essential, if you were based in this area or within commuting distance.
