They track and test the latest manufacturing technologies. Their portfolio of services covers all aspects of advanced manufacturing, factory transformation, production transformation, the transition to digital & AI, automation and robotics.
Consultants working in this business typically have experience of factory automation, robotics, validation, data analytics and advanced manufacturing. Most consultants are Chartered Engineers or are on the way to chartership.
Role – Project Engineer
Initially you will be supporting the current Project Engineer working with a major pharmaceutical client in the south. The project currently includes, warehouse project, filling line, turret drying room and packing line vision systems delivery. You will be involved at every stage of major projects from project scoping and justification to value engineering, validation, commissioning and benefits realisation.
Location
Home working, Chesham, Ware. Willing to travel nationally.
Essential skills and experience
* HND/engineering degree
* Site experience and contractor management essential
* Experience of authoring and executing of testing documents essential
* Sound technical knowledge
* A high standard of written and spoken communication
* Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical
* Understanding of Health & Safety requirements
* Desire to progress to Project Management
* Willing to work flexibly
* Willing to travel (mostly in UK)
* Investigation and analysis
* Creative problem solving
* Supporting clients’ engineering teams
* Planning and organising
* Making decisions and prioritising
* Meeting client expectations
* Taking responsibility for high standards of quality and safety

* Warehouse experience desirable
* IOSH or Nebosh trained and certified desirable

You are a qualified or part qualified engineer with an interest in manufacturing technologies and the ability to inspire and persuade. You have a degree in one of the following engineering disciplines: mechanical, electrical, control & automation, mechatronics, chemical or manufacturing. You may also have a general business qualification.
You have drive, curiosity and the desire to be the best in your field. In addition, a sense of urgency, the ability to multi-task, and to keep cool under pressure, is a distinct advantage. A commitment to accuracy and precision in all you undertake is essential as is the ability to know how and when to communicate to stakeholders
