Tradewind Social Care Recruitment are working along a residential home service for young adults with learning difficulties and autism. This is a new, 4 bedded home so they are looking for an experienced Registered Manager who has previously worked in a start up or a similar environment.

Salary is £36,000 – £40,000.

Responsibilities:

Be responsible for the deployment and control of staff on a day-to-day basis, including reporting of issues of performance to line management.
To be involved in the recruitment, monitoring, training, retention and mentoring as necessary.
To ensure that all staff receive regular supervision.
Establishing a programme of senior staff and team meetings to facilitate communication and provide opportunities for consultation and staff development.Requirements:

NVQ Level 5 Leadership & Management
NVQ Level 3 Health and Social
Minimum of 2 years management and supervisory experience at a residential setting
Experience of facilitating, organising and directing & developing teams
Experience of translating policy into practice
Knowledge of Management theories
Management training & experience
Knowledge of Equal opportunities & diversity models
Basic knowledge of IT
Experience working with Adults with Physical, Sensory and Learning Disabilities and other Complex needs.
Full knowledge of CQC requirements and regulations.
