Business Development Manager, FMCG Non-Food, National, £40,000 basic + £15,000 realistic OTE year one + Car Allowance

Our client has experienced continued success throughout this difficult period and are therefore looking to expand their sales team. A family run business that has grown consistently over the past 30 years, they now have a dedicated client base and an unrivalled dedication to their team. The successful candidate will be provided with ongoing training and support from the sales manager.

This home and field-based role will see you managing established accounts with major retailers as well as developing new relationships with both independent and major national retail outlets. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate who is experienced in selling consumer goods and developing relationships with buyers from scratch. The ideal candidate will be hungry to grow their career long-term as our client is dedicated to investing in their sales team.

The Ideal Candidate

* Must have a minimum of 2 years B2B field sales experience

* Will have FMCG Non-food sales experience (a bonus if this includes automotive products!)

* Must be ambitious and career driven as progression is expected

* A financially motivated salesperson is likely to be successful as there is a generous commission scheme on offer

* A graduate or of graduate-calibre

* Will live 'on-patch' with the ideal location being Milton Keynes
