Care Concern Group is delighted to be growing from strength to strength, which is leading to new job opportunities in our head office.

We are currently looking to appoint a Management Accountant on a permanent basis,

The Management Accountant will report into the Finance Controller.

If you’re analytical, with a high attention to detail, this role could be right for you.

The Contract:

* Salary between £35,000 – £37,000

* Hours of work: 9am – 5.30pm

* 1 hour for lunch

* Free parking at the office

* 25 days holiday per year plus statutory bank holidays

Responsibilities:

* Preparing regular management accounts including, KPIs, financial statements and reconciliations to meet reporting deadlines

* Support and drive query resolution for any issues that arise regarding the management accounts

* Monitoring spending, costs and budgets

* Analysing current and past trends in key performance areas with a view to monitoring performance, highlighting trends and identifying areas of improvement

* Preparation of budgets and forecasts

* Provide finance advice and support to the business, where applicable in working towards understanding and improving their financial driven KPIs

* Monitoring cash flow and produce recommendations for corrective action

* Ensure financial controls, processes and disciplines are all in place and adhered to

* Develop an awareness of the activities of the Group to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

* Understand and report on wider finance functions such as Trade debtors and creditors etc.

Criteria:

* Be a newly or part qualified accountant; either ACCA or CIMA

* Have advanced Excel knowledge and ability to manipulate data from other sources

* High level of numeracy and literacy skills

* Experience of using Sage 200 & Xero is preferable

* Able to meet deadlines

* Team player with ability to work on own initiative

* Be able to work with and provide clear instructions to wider finance functions
