SEN Teaching Assistant

Supply Desk are looking for SEN teaching assistants for an April 2021 start and the successful applicants will be working with children who have complex needs in a school for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will be responsible for working with children and supporting their complex needs as the teaching assistant alongside the class teacher and a team of Teaching assistants. The class sizes are much smaller and the school is extremely supportive of its staffs development.
Experience and ideal requirements for an SEND Teaching Assistant:
Experience in SEN or with challenging behaviour in education
Any SEN qualifications would be advantageous such as team teach
Reliability, a positive and enthusiastic attitude; solution focused,
If you have previously worked with SEN within a mainstream setting, we want to hear from you too
A degree in psychology, child development or similar would be an advantage
