Founded by industry experts the company has gained an extensive amount of specialist experience which has aided them in constructing projects ranging from £10m – £100m.
The Role
This is an opportunity for a Senior Design Manager to lead the main contracting design process on a £15m upcoming project. The scheme will have both BREEAM & BIM involvement so knowledge of or experience with either of these would be very advantageous. Working alongside a strong project manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project by ensuring that the design process runs smoothly. You will be responsible for:
* Management of the design team and design process
* Commercial and contractual awareness
* Engagement with the client – chairing design meetings
* Ensuring the design is developed satisfactorily
* Encouraging the design consultants to produce the highest quality design against cost restraints
* Reporting into head of design
