Cityworx are recruiting in partnership with leading organisation providing palliative care for a Head of Clinical Services to cover maternity leave secondment.

We have an opportunity for an exceptional clinical leader to join for a period of 12 months as Head of Clinical Services. You will be a registered nurse, able to demonstrate the ability to organise and prioritise the workload of the clinical team to ensure excellent clinical service provision. You must be a team player and possess excellent communication skills to enable you to work effectively with our Hospice Director, and other colleagues throughout the Hospice and the wider organisation.

The role includes but is not limited to:

– Providing day to day line management of the Hospice's clinical teams
– Working with the Hospice Director and the local Senior Management Team to map and deliver the vision for the organisation.
– Developing relationships with key commissioners and our provider colleagues
– Ensuring a programme of continuous quality improvement is developed and all staff are supported to deliver this
– Leading on the development of new clinical services that respond to demand and best practice
