Mechanical Fitter
£35,000 – 45,000 per annum (also open to contract role of up to £250 per day)
Buckinghamshire working on the HS2 project

Responsibilities:

Perform planned and preventative maintenance on plant and vehicles including cranes, rigs, forklifts and other yellow goods.
Perform reactive repairs on plant and vehicles including cranes, rigs, forklifts and other yellow goods.
Diagnosis of breakdowns
Adhere to working instructions as specified internally from engineers, project manager and supervisors.
Follow all Health & Safety requirements
Provide paperwork, equipment inspection sheets, timesheets on a weekly basis for approval.
Maintenance of drilling equipment, small plant and toolsRequirements:

Essential

Experience working on plant and vehicles including cranes, rigs, forklifts and other yellow goods.
Experience working on a live construction site
NVQ3/BTEC in a Mechanical discipline or similar
Hydraulics knowledge
Able to read Hydraulic and Mechanical drawingsDesirable

Experience working on foundation/piling equipment
