Web Hosting Engineer – Windows, Linux

Highly relevant technically this is an opportunity to work for a global business as they continue a transitional period of change bringing local VPN sites into the wider group IT function. You will get the chance to work and upskill on the latest web hosting and automation technology and bridge the gap between code releases and the production environment.

Ideally looking for people with Windows and Linux Server experience aswell as a background in hosting and web server technologies.

You will be a key member of the systems engineering function liaising with international technical experts as you update the online presence and automate internal processes.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Windows Server – 2012r, 2016, 2019, Exchange, AD,

Linux – RHEL, Centos, Ubuntu

Web Servers – Apache, SQL

Virtualisation technologies – Vmware or Hyper V

Office 365 or Azure administration

Any experience with automation or orchestration tools – Puppet, Docker, Ansible, Terraform highly beneficial

Experienced in a hosting focused system engineering role

Adept at technical troubleshooting and systerms administration
