Business Development Executive

About the role:
CIPHR is a fast-growing, private equity-backed SaaS business with an experienced and high-performing Business Development function.
As the 'face' of CIPHR, our Business Development Executives are the first line of contact for all prospective customers. They are responsible for researching new sales opportunities, identifying emerging market trends and competition, building long-term trusting relationships with key decision-makers, booking well-qualified sales meeting,s and supporting our Account Development Managers in forging new customer partnerships.
Our Business Development Executives are key members of not only the Business Development team but also the Sales function of the business and enable CIPHR to achieve its vision – to help organisations unlock the value of their people.
Accountabilities:
Utilise outbound telephone calls, emails, and introductory videos to proactively identify new sales opportunities in target market segments/verticals and follow up on marketing campaigns.
To initiate discovery conversations, identify prospects' requirements and project scope, and qualify sales opportunities to the outlined standard.
To answer incoming telephone calls in line with team standards and assist prospects and customers with requests for information, literature, and demonstrations
Manage and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities and engage with key decision-makers to secure appropriate next steps
To achieve agreed sales targets and objectives.
Understand the capabilities of the CIPHR Connect HCM suite and partner offerings to effectively describe unique selling points, key features, and benefits in line with individual prospect requirements.
To develop and maintain a sophisticated understanding of both CIPHR's direct competitors and the wider competitive landscape, and be able to effectively position CIPHR Connect against key competitors in the HCM space
Participate in team projects and effectively manage individual projects and sales campaigns
Be able to manage diaries and the time of the Sales Managers
