Development Manager – 6 Month FTC
Salary: £58,000 per annum
High Wycombe / Beaconsfield area – working from home currently with some office attendance (Restricted) and site attendance.
Immediate start
Full Time, 37 hours per week
6 month fixed term contract – possibility of moving into Senior Development Manager role after 6 months

Are you an experienced Development Manager or do you have in-depth knowledge of new build project management?

Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Development Manager to join them on a full time contract for 6 months. Our client looking for someone to hit the ground running and take responsibility for allocated development projects and ensure that they are delivered on time and within budget and to the correct quality levels.

Job requirements:
Project management of a portfolio of development projects from inception to completion.
Working closely with Technical Managers, the Land team, the Sales team and the Senior Site Inspectors to manage the project delivery.
Manage the costs of the projects and ensure they remain within budget.
Manage handover in conjunction with the Senior Site Inspectors to deliver homes to Sales, Housing and Operations upon completion.
Ensure compliance to all health and safety regulations.
Work closely with the Employers Agents and Clerk of Works in delivering the Projects.
Ensure that CDM and Principal Designer obligations are completed.

What our client are looking for:
Experience in a development / project management / contract management role, ideally within social housing or for a new build development company
Recognised qualification (degree level or equivalent in a construction related discipline)
Membership of relevant professional body (CIOB, RICS etc.)
Demonstrable understanding of the development process and property and contract law.
An experienced commercial approach to managing contracts with third parties.
Experience of project management and Construction contracts.
Driving licence and the ability to travel to sites
