Are you an experienced application specialist with experience with Flow Cytometry or a driven Biomedical Scientist with Flow Cytometry experience? Are you capable of reading and understanding scientific and technical documentation? Do you have excellent communication skills and demonstrable customer service experience?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join a market leading healthcare and diagnostics supplier as a Flow Cytometry Specialist. This support will initially be focused on supporting customers in the existing Industrial and Research market sectors with the existing product portfolio while also preparing and supporting the entry into the clinical flow cytometry market in the UK and Ireland.
The successful candidate will:
·Provide comprehensive and consistent support to customers via phone, email or onsite
·Troubleshoot queries and provide good technical and logical solutions to customer queries
·Create and deliver presentations to customers, organising customer training onsite and in the laboratory
·Ensure stakeholders receive excellent scientific and technical support throughout the life of their instrumentation
·Work towards personal and business KPI's and SLA's to ensure that support, installations and training courses meet companies expectations and guidelines
·Ensure all training, installation guides, SOP's and regulatory documentation is maintained and updated
Skills:
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
·Degree educated – preferably within Biomedical Science or similar
·Demonstrable working knowledge of Flow cytometry – essential
·Ability to read and understand detailed scientific literature and technical documentation
·Methodical and organised with excellent attention to detail
This position requires a confident knowledgeable person with drive to achieve results in their specialist technical and administrative area of expertise. A good communicator and personable nature with good social skills this person will be able to effectively communicate, build relationships and install confidence at every customer interaction. The role involves concepts, equipment, ideas and problem solving requiring a sound depth of knowledge and expertise to visualise solutions, overcome obstacles and leave customers with a positive outcome. The person fulfilling this role should be driven, constantly learning and adapting to changes in the environment around them.
