Mechanical Design Engineer / Project Leader
Salary £35-40k
Based Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire

A Mechanical Design Engineer with strong strong project leader experience is required for a busy engineering company. The company design and manufacture heavy capital equipment.

Driving projects from start to finish key duties will include, creating / reviewing documents, checking and writing specifications and drawings, chairing design reviews, and performing design calculations to company standards. Some FEA may be required so experience of this would be a bonus. Hydraulic analysis and CFD analysis would be another bonus as some basic analysis is required at the start of a project to check that a suitable product has been chosen by sales.

A working knowledge of Solidworks or similar package (3D essential) and experience of designing rotating machinery is desirable. Mentoring and coaching experience of junior engineers would be beneficial
