Exigency Recruitment is pleased to be representing an outstanding residential children's home provider in their search for an experienced Regional Manager to join them on a full time permanent basis where you will cover 5-6 of their homes spread across Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Leicester and Burton-upon-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Regional Manager to join an exemplary care provider for children and young people with complex and emotional behavioural difficulties with their portfolio of homes spread across East Staffordshire, The Midlands, Derbyshire and Yorkshire.

Overview
As the Regional Manager, you will be covering 5-6 children and young peoples residential homes across Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Leicester and Burton-upon-Trent providing support to the Home Managers ensuring that the homes are running in a cost effective and quality way, delivering excellent outcomes, care experience and customer satisfaction.
Role Responsibilities
* To support the home managers within your region, ensuring that the homes are running in a cost effective and quality way.
* Creating and maintaining quality services and long-term placements aiming to achieve and deliver outstanding services.
* Ensuring that the homes maintain high standards of compliance at all times with Ofsted ratings never falling below "Good".
* Ensuring that all young people experience a placement experience that is personalised to their indidividual needs, identified through a robust assessment system and placement matching.
* Keeping accurate and effective records, monitoring progress and taking appropriate action to ensure service delivery.
* To work proactively with both the Registered Managers and commissioning team to ensure that homes place appropriately matched children to maintain operational capacity.
* Working closely with the commissioning team to maintain required occupancy levels in your region.
* Ensuring staffing levels are adequate to meet the needs of the home and that rotas are upheld.
* Conducting staff evaluations and regular supervisions with the Home Managers.
* Creating and updating company Policies and Procedures in line with Ofsted regulations.
* Developing a Regional Development Plan and individual Personal Development Plans for all managers and ensuring their implementations.
* Quarterly in-depth audits of all homes within your region. Report to be submitted within 3 weeks of the audit.
* Ensuring homes are safe and presentable. Any maintenance work required is to be logged to Head Office.
Role Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Manager of a specialist children's service.
* Direct knowledge and experience of Ofsted inspections and expectations.
* Sound knowledge of legislation, Social Care Regulations, Standards and Framework.
* Strong knowledge of child protection and health and safety issues.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to all tasks including the ability to deal with a wide range of professionals.
* Passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
* Track record for delivering positive outcomes for children.
* Experience of leading and managing a team of staff.
* Strong commercial awareness and experienced in managing referrals.
* Strong financial and budgetary skills.
* Experience mentoring and guiding Registered Managers.
Qualifications
– Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce.
– Level 5 NVQ Children and Young People or equivalent
