Dunbar Education are currently working with a wide range of Primary Schools in Milton Keynes who we anticipate will require Behaviour Support Assistants once pupils return to school.
Due to time away from school through 2020 and 2021 and previously being disengaged, the children require support to bridge the gap with their learning levels.
As a successful Behaviour Support Assistant, you will be a key member of the team, who is able to assist pupils with guidance and support on a 1:1 or small group basis.
You will be working with children with a variety of needs such as SEMH, challenging behaviour and learning difficulties and be responsible for assisting the pupils in areas where they can fulfil their potential.
We are looking to appoint Behaviour Support Assistants to work on a supply, long term, and permanent basis from February 2021 onwards.
Ideally, you will –
* Have a general understanding of national curriculum and other basic learning programmes.
* Hold an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
* Previous experience working with children in KS1 & KS2
