Senior Quantity Surveyor Needed!

My client are a Tier 1 main contractor set up in the early 2000s who specialise in new build industrial units and distribution centres in the south east of England up to the value of £40m.

You will be responsible for running a single project commercially whilst reporting into a manging surveyor and working alongside the production team.

Responsibilities include:

* Measurement and valuation

* Administration of contract methods

* Subcontract / materials orders and buying

* Contract obligations

* Ability to form and develop relationships with Managing Surveyor, design team and supply chain

* Commercial skills, maximising value recovery, cost control and cash management

* Good interpersonal skills ­ ability to work effectively with site management and the rest of the team

* Ability to use / understand financial reports and final account.
