Quality Assurance Coordinator
We are currently recruiting for a quality assurance coordinator for a client based in Milton Keynes. Monday to Friday. Full time.
Fixed Term Contract to cover a period of maternity leave until end of April 2021.
Location:
Kingston, Milton Keynes, MK10 0BD
Key Accountabilities:
•To monitor staff hygiene and factory hygiene, looking at making improvements where necessary.
•To monitor quality procedures and ensure they are being followed.
•To ensure all staff have a clear understanding of the hygiene standards and practices.
•Ensure that any weaknesses in production practices are highlighted to the QA Supervisor/Technical manager and addressed.
•Ensure that Gosh! Food procedures, hygiene and quality standards are being met.
•Ensure that internal audits are carried out in a timely manner and corrective actions followed up.
•Follow up customer complaints and assist the QA Supervisor and Technical Manager with an investigation.
•Implementation of new procedures
•Any other duties that are reasonable and allocated by the QA Supervisor /Technical Manager.

•Stand in for the QA Supervisor
Qualifications And Experience Required:
•Must have worked in a food manufacturing environment- preferably in High Risk Food.
•QA or QC experience
•HACCP and/or Food safety level 3 certificate, preferable but not essential
•Must have GCSE / NVQ / Equivalent – English and Maths
•Articulate and proactive
•Positive attitude and Self-motivated
•Flexible and adaptable to changes in priorities and demands
•Interest in food and in developing a Quality Assurance career
