Our client is a market leader within the fashion and sports arena, they are looking to recruit a Business Analyst for a contract of 3-4 months. You will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales data, as well as supporting the merchandising function of their Retail & Web.

The main aspects of the role –

Analyse sales and performance data and translate results into weekly, monthly and quarterly reports

* Consolidate forecasts from sales teams

* Create stock lists, sell sheets and inventory updates for sales teams and proactively encourage residual inventory sales (clearance)

* Ensure that stock levels and relevant information on B2B and B2C systems are accurate

* Provide full administrative support to senior sales management and the Head Of Business Analytics

* Coordinate communication between sales management and regional sales teams across all areas of sales e.g. Targeting, Forecasting, Incentives, Inventory Management

* Assist with the merchandising function of their Retail & Web, ensuring that we have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time

* Liaise with Operations and Customer Services to keep informed of up-to-date delivery information for our stores and website

* Control inventory levels, allocations and replenishment to branches as required

* Be a Head Office contact point for Sales & Retail queries and communications

Essential Knowledge and Experience

Microsoft Office Excel advanced level (Pivot tables & V-lookups essential)

* Microsoft Office PowerPoint

* Ability to co-ordinate and manage data analysis requests of varying size and scope

* Ability to capture and document sales data

* Sales/Analytics/Merchandising environment experience

* Some knowledge of an ERP system (SAP) would be preferable

* It would be an advantage to have worked within a similar role within the fashion industry, but this isnt essential
