2021 is set to be an exciting year for this ICP as they have taken on long term contracts and have big expansion plans.
In this role the commissioning engineer will be planning and carrying out commissioning testing of any plant, equipment and protection systems installed to a specific design. This includes trouble shooting, fault finding and resolving.
You will also carry out value engineering at the start of the project and throughout, ensuring our clients get the best value for their money. The role will also consist of preparing testing plans (ITP) and reviewing design drawings prior to commencement of the works.
The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background and have protection and control experience up to 132KV. Candidates who have experience working with DNO's will have an advantage.
This is a great role for an electrical engineer to join a leading ICP where you will play a key part in this companies growth and development.
The role:
*Commissioning 132 KV systems.
*Power transformer test
*Reactor testing
*Working closely with DNO's.
The person:
*A minimum of 5 year's experience in a senior electrical engineering role working on 132KV systems.
*Thorough understanding of electrical power systems up to 132kV.
*Candidates would be expected to hold a relevant engineering degree and likely to have some working experience as a commissioning engineer.
*Protection and control experience
*Ideally have knowledge and experience dealing with DNO's
