Sourcing Manager – RAIL

Location: Remote working, usually located in Milton Keynes

Term: 12 months contract initially

Rate: £550 per day, inside IR35

Are you an experienced Procurement Manager who has managed sourcing activities for multi-million-pound projects?

Have you worked in a rail vehicle engineering environment, and worked on tendering contracts for materials on large frameworks (for supplier materials for Track and Signalling).

“Our client is a well-established Nationwide Rail company who provide an exceptional service to their customers and are focused on continually improving this.”

They are looking for a thorough and driven Sourcing Manager to develop and manage the the sourcing process.

Key Skills:

* Hold expert levels of indirect and direct influencing techniques

* Have the ability to implement approved Integrated Category Strategies (ICS) through development and delivery of qualified sourcing pipeline

* Be an expert negotiator

* Have a detailed knowledge of the UK Rail Industry, including procurement processes would be advantageous
