We are looking for a super organised and experienced Import & Export Administrator to support the busy Logistics Team of our client based in Milton Keynes.

You will be responsible for monitoring deliveries and addressing any challenges, keeping all parties up to date. You will be proactive by nature and driven to achieve the service standards expected.

Key responsibilities of the Import & Export Administrator will include:

Monitor and action delivery reports as directed by the team manager
Liaise regularly with the logistics providers
Work to targets and ensure all processes ensure optimum performance
Process all delivery queries and manage expectations accordingly
Keep all information up to date and accurate
Ensure delivery issues are managed effectively and correct action is taken
Ensuring that the dispatch function is monitored as directed by the logistics team manager

The Import & Export Administrator needs to have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of IT literacy, Experience using SAP (Material Management Module and Sales Order Processing)
Good attention for detail to ensure data accuracy
Experience of using KPI's to monitor performance
Confident, assertive and professional
Excellent customer service skills
Commercially minded and an understanding of cost control
Experience with Foreign Trade – Import and Export processes and regulations
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
