Are you wanting to make a difference to the lives of children and families within Milton Keynes? If so, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker who can hit the ground running.

Milton Keynes Council are currently looking for Social Workers to join their Safeguarding Team.

About the role:
* Undertaking Child Protection enquiries under section 47 of Children's Act of 1989.
* Presenting cases at Legal Planning meetings.
* Initiating care proceedings, writing court statements, care plans and have given coherent evidence during an Emergency Protection Order (EPO), Interim Care Order applications as well securing final orders. (Successfully obtained the EPOs, ICOs, SGOs, Supervision Orders, placement orders, etc)
* Writing Child Protection reports and presenting cases at Initial and Review child Protection Conferences and successfully implemented, monitored and reviewed the resultant Child Protection Plans.

For this role you must:
* Hold a relevant Qualification – BA Hons, DiPSW..
* Be HCPC Registered
* Have completed your ASYE
