Project Engineer – Milton Keynes – 9-month Contract
Project Engineer – Role Overview:
Melbreck Technical are working with a leading Engineering and Technology Business based near Milton Keynes.
Due to two programmes of working coming live in the new year, they are looking to strengthen their project team, and as such are looking to recruit two Project Engineers to join their business ASAP.
It will be the responsibility of the Project Engineer to conceptualise new designs, create specifications, research and develop new products, carry out modelling and calculations, support production, manage projects and carry out feasibility studies of new products.
There will also be the added responsibility of introducing new products into the business using the correct NPI Process.
Project Engineer – Key Accountabilities:
Carry out the required engineering tasks to introduce new products to agreed specifications, costs and timescales
Ensure accurate engineering documentation is produced to agreed cost and timescales.
Ensure engineering documentation is stored, maintained and communicated in appropriate databases defined by Division & department procedures.
Maintain Engineering project files with all relevant documents to ensure an up-to-date, organised project record.
Communicate engineering outputs in an appropriate & timely manner
Project Engineer – Requirements:
Education:
A recognised degree in a Mechanical, Electronic or Mechatronic discipline.
Minimum Experience:
Over 5 years experience as an engineer in a Mechanical, electronic or Mechatronic environment.
Ability to produce Engineering documents using CAD.
Computer literate: Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and potential use of Visio.
Experience of a highly regulated or safety critical industry is critical.
