Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer Ref: (phone number removed)

Milton Keynes

I am working with a busy, well established site investigation company who are looking for a talented Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Milton Keynes.

This position is a mixture of site (80%) and office (20%) work.

You will be working on sites nationwide and you must be willing to travel and work away from home.

Night and weekend shifts as and when required.

Project supervision

Onsite project management / post field work report writing (Factual)

The successful candidate will ideally have:

A degree in Geology, a related earth science or Civil/Geotechnical Engineering

Full clean driving licence

Be able to lead and manage site investigations

Soil & rock logging

HOLEBASE

CSCS (essential) and PTS certification (desirable – training can be provided)

You MUST be able to pass industry-related drugs & alcohol tests on a daily basis.

Flexible attitude to work, be motivated & willingness to learn essential.

Have excellent verbal, written and communication skills.

This role would suit an engineer who enjoys being busy and has the ability to deal with and communicate with people on all levels.
