Health & Safety Manager | Midlands | £40-50K + package

Our client supports tier 1 contractors to deliver major highways, energy, railway and infrastructure projects across the UK. They now have an opportunity for a Midlands-based Health & Safety Manager to join the team, travelling nationally and reporting to the Operations Manager and Managing Director.

You will be responsible for managing Health & Safety across the business, working closely with colleagues, major contractors and clients to ensure the safe delivery of construction, tunnelling, railway and highways projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working on major civil engineering projects, with a good understanding of the demands of tier 1 contractors and end clients. Key responsibilities will include:

* Undertaking site visits nationally

* Liaising with clients on Health & Safety matters

* Delivering training and maintaining records

* Providing input to bid and tender submissions

We are looking for an experienced, engaging Health & Safety Manager to promote a positive safety culture across the business, backed-up by effective training and regular site visits. To be considered for this role, you must hold:

* NEBOSH Construction Certificate

* Major infrastructure project experience

* Excellent communication skills

* Driving licence and be willing to travel nationally
